The first 12 to 24 months of any (direct sales) marketing is known as formulation. During this period, the company introduces and improves products, fine tunes the compensation plan, and develops a core of distributors that will be the leaders or "players" within a company structure. If you want to be a "player" or one of the top money earners in the company... this is the time to get involved. Some people would argue this point. However, if you look at all the top money earners in any company, almost all of them got involved in FORMULATION.
